Past HHG Meetings

Frankie’s Tiki Room

When you walk into Frankie’s you wished you pulled your best Hawaiian shirt out of the dirty hamper!

Pull up a Tiki totem chair and order a Green Gasser or a Malekula and enjoy the ambiance.

Check their website for events that feature Tiki carvers and artist.  Plus you can take a home a piece of Tiki from their store page.

The Artisan Bar & Ultralounge

Art adorns the walls, frames on ceiling you’d literally think you walked into a library that

On our visit, we had the chance to take part in the Bartender convention, which makes the experience that more surreal, but the normal crowd is no exception. The event listing for the club is as funky as the decor; from a Steampunk Soiree to decadent excess during non-stop party weekends. was owned by an eccentric old lady.  But that’s what makes this place special.

The Double Down Saloon

Shut up and Drink!

There’s only four things you need to know about the Double Down:

1. Home of the Ass Juice. (basically Ass Juice is what’s left on the bar mat poured into a glass…we know it sounds sick…but it’s actually good!)

2. Creators of the Bacon Martini. (Try it…just once)

3. You must take a photo in the bathroom. (The bathroom murals are legendary!)

4. It’s the Happiest Place on Earth!

The Foundation Room @ Mandalay Bay

House of Blues Foundation Room is more than a place to go; it’s a place to belong.

Atop Mandalay Bay is a great place to hang out…that is if you know a member! Decorated with Persian rugs, Buddha statues and a view of the Las Vegas Strip like no other.  One of the cool things about this venue is the private rooms located in the back. If you have a chance to have a private room, check out the statues, designs and frames.  You may have to take a double look!

Firefly on Paradise

Tapas and Sangria, there is no better pairing…ever!  The original location on Paradise is filled with a fun ambiance and one of the best places in the Valley to see and be seen.

Our favorites: Stuffed Dates, Empanada, Steak and Mushroom Skewers, and of course the Paella. The red Sangria is awesome and the white Sangria is amazing.  So you’ll never pick wrong!

With the recent expansion into the next building, having a large group is never hard, nor difficult.  It also helps with the wait time.

The Dispensary Lounge

Have you heard of The Dispensary?  Well, then consider yourself educated!  This family owned lounge opened in 1976, and still feels like it’s still there!  Great food, cheap drinks and the home of the $3.95 1/2 pound burger and fries.  Yes, a four buck burger and fries meal.

In 2008 The Dispensary Lounge was voted the 4th best Dive Bar in the US, and you will see why when you visit!

If you are looking to book the lounge for a networking group or a fun party, there is no booking fee, and for upcoming events, check with the bartenders!

PT’s Pub on Sunset

Ah, PT’s Pub, the standard in the Valley for bar food, great beers and of course great happy hour prices.  The location on Sunset is amazing because it sits directly across from the McCarran Airport runway.

Each one has it’s own “flavor”, the one on Spring Mountain and Arville has great couches and billiards area.  Just a lot of fun!

Blue Martini

As the birth place of the Happy Hour Gang, the Blue Martini a Town Square will always hold a special place in our hearts! The Miami feel of the decor and the namesake Martini, makes you think you’ll see the ocean when you look over the patio railing.

Great nights to go include Girls Night on Wednesday, where groups of 4 girls get complementary table service with a bottle of champagne.

Rumor Hotel

Sassy, fun, and off the beaten path, just three of the words that we would use to describe Rumor Hotel.  Owned by The Siegel Group, the same company that owns The Artisan, Mt. Charleston Resort, and the Siegel Suites around town.  They have turned the former site of the Atrium Suites into a swanky hideaway with a great happy hour and great food.

Rumor does not try to compete with the hotels on the Strip, or even the Hard Rock Hotel that’s across the street.  They want to be your pre-party before you hit the clubs, and trust us, they do a good job of it too!

Freakin’ Frog

This place is freakin’ awesome! Literary there’s nothing else to say about this place!
The whiskey attic, the live bands and the huge beer refrigerator with some rare beers that no one is allowed to drink.  This place is so amazeballs it’s the first word in its name: Freakin’!
